Yes as paul sais indeed i almost had a moment with martins o/b on the back. It was a large swell kicked up and hit the engine leg and transom and ripped off the N/S clamp

As you can see it was done up tight but the force of the water just won out and the engine mount feet sliced the plastic plate on the transom.
I may well look to one of them their retaining straps.
Ive never experienced this before but i have been out in similar states before......just a little reminder from the great deep that its more powerfull that we could ever know i think.

I am going to get one as well.
I'll see if I can get a setup like Pauls. Looks quite neat.

Hi Martin

It’s my Garmin Fenix 3. It’s a configurable GPS watch, so it gives speed, distance and track when it’s setup for the boat...

Probably my best gadget!
