The question is does the Navionics give everything I need :-

I was to be able to track my movements, see water depth and be able to navigate "Back to Home Port", how much do I really need to spend to get all this in one app ?

Thanks in advance
I use the paid for navionics app on my ipad Dave, I link it to my wireless fish finding set up sometimes .. The transducer pick up is a bit dopey as i get going, it worked better on the Honwave than it does on the frib.. maybe time for change. :thud
Have a read, see if it's suitable for you [Here's the link]

Still confused by the cost of the Navionics but it looks good.

For now I will try Embark, thanks Paul.

Embark as its more in my price range (I am just about broke now).

If you are on Android "MX Mariner" is a cheaper chartplotter option, and on iOS there is "iSailor".

When you say see water depth do you mean look at the charted depths and drying heights on the chart, or see the actual depth underneath your boat using a transducer?

Thanks Chris, I have downloaded iSailor.

I just mean chartered depths, I have always used TidePlanner for tide times and I can't afford anything more than that right now, cheers.
