Solent map

Post by Andiac » 26 Jul 2016, 20:37

Evening all
could you recommend a marine map ((chart) or 2, for the Solent area, if possible I'd just like a couple that cover whole solent area as don't want to take lots out on a sib, also any that are weatherproof- ish?
I have a small gps with the marine mapping for my location, but screen is a bit small for viewing the maps and planning trips.
Thanks Andy

If you can find any secondhand "Admiralty Toughcharts" they are great for use on a small open boat, and they did one that covered the Solent. Unfortunately they no longer produce them, but you might pick a secondhand set up.
