That's just brought a little smile to my "up at 6am,day off" tired face, very kind words - thankyou !!!!
I think, or "Hope" where we differ here is it was set up from the outset as a none profit home for all & without any c0ck wagging, power hungry, hierarchy

Obviously it has to be steered at times, but it should be a group decision steer rather than a captains decission (hope that makes sense)
In our heads, It has to be a forum for its members. It's the members that make it what it is. You guys are all awesome and appear to get a bit of fun and maybe a bit of education out of the forum, education from what others have offered up from their own experience.

Anyway, enough rambling :shame
Thankyou again to everyone for making Fribs & Sibs what it is... :D

Regards,
The Boss   :shame

Many thanks for the kind words 9-R
Martin puts more into the techy side of the forum than myself so it's good to hear his hard work is paying off :D

We're over the moon that you guys and girls enjoy your forum with us just providing the platform.
Hopefully the relaxed atmosphere, banter, sharing ideas will continue long into the future :)
So a thanks to you and all fellow members for making it was it is today :cheers

In regard to 9-R's search post, I've been tinkering away in the back room trying even harder to enhance the seo for the forum. Regardless of our Tapatalk app indexing upgrade, google still hates us for our lack of mobilisation of the forum.

So out come the big guns this time, I've installed a mobile mod on rhibs.net, it's a trial for now but it appears to be working ok..
try it for yourselves on your mobile phone / tablet.

Nothing changes with our forum, it's still the same looks and set-up, but it does clearly enhance the txt on phones.

You can switch manually between the two styles but the software will automatically remember your choice/preference.

Tapatalk will remain in place for those that prefer that.

Regrettably Rhibs.net will be closing down in or before the end of December 2016, hopefully the members will take a tender ride over here.

It now looks like we have a Tapatalk image error since Tapatalk updated their app.
Can everyone please refrain from posting pictures pls via Tapatalk until we have time to look into the error. :thud

Bump & Edit,
I've emailed them, and reported it from the site owners consol... So far, usual ignorance so I guess they don't intend fixing the issue. :sarky

Thanks in advance :cheers

Quick update on 9-R's superb find - or not finding as the case was lol..
Try :search "inflatable boat forum" on your search engine now should hopefully produce a slightly better outcome.
Please do report back your findings if possible.

:wavey

Just searched on G..gle and f-ribsandsibs.com came at 3rd and 4th places*.
Not sure whether selecting those choices helps promote their position overall (I know it does on one's own cache), so did it anyway

* (You can probably guess who came 1st & 2nd . . . )

:cheers
cheers

The Premier Inflatable Boat Forum comes second place in Google Martin..thats cos you are a Premier Guy :D Guess who is top though ...

Just some old history for you..but five years or more ago..if you did a search on "inflatable boat" my old blog was always second place too. I stopped adding to it a few years ago to publish The Gurnards tales on the forums...so its fallen from the rankings now

This was the old top of the list from google back then.... some old memories of old times on the water there too .... http://inflatableboatjourneys.blogspot.co.uk/

Thanks Roger, we're not in competition with them, so there's no problem there.
It was kindly pointed out by 9-R that we never had a mention at all. To get to position 3 & 4 on the 1st page is great, more than we could ask for. At least now were visible.
Well worth a bit of backroom poking :o
