How many outboards do you have

Post by chris moody » 14 Nov 2017, 14:13

Another post on here has just made me count up how many outboard engines I have:

1 Honda BF50 4s
2 Tohatsu 9.8 2s
3 Honda 2 4s
4 Suzuki 2.5 4s

I really think I need to sell one next season.

How many outboards do you have?

there's me thinking that covering them and a couple of tube heaters with thermostat in a shed would work. you got polar bears??

Even the penguins migrate south Si.. I would move the beds out to the shed too.. but I don't have a shed. I don't mind them in the spare room..at least they don't snore the way my ex did..so I still get a good nights kip myself :D

Do you not have central heating or do you just choose not to switch it on?

I don’t feel the cold Pritch ..with all my running around the hills I keep warm. I have a hot water bottle in my bed on the cold nights..but the outboards don’t get pampered..they have to get on with it. I don’t even have double glazing..so little point in central heating ?

Scale is hard to judge but these icicles lived outside my bedroom window last January..grew to around 3 feet in length before the spring thaw brought them down. I often heat a two penny piece in hot water ..then push it against the window on the frosty days..just so I can see out.

I can never understand why folks down south want to go boating in winter ..I love sledging instead
Bedroom window2.jpg
A season for everything.. and its certainly not boating season in my world :o

With a bit of luck..the snow will have gone before the WWA in May ? ;-)

Chris..sorry for going off topic..so to help put it back on topic.. I have 0 generators :D
