Hi and Welcome

Please check out my review on the FRIB430 under RIBS. I Have an Evinrude 30 on mine and it goes well. 25Hp will work but would suggest going to the max for this little beast. I leave my motor on the transom now so the weight isnt a factor for me. Dont discard the idea of a 2-stroke, these Evinrudes perform really well and are super low in maintenance.

I'm in the market for a 20-25hp due to the weight of the motor (95-125lbs or 43-56kg). More power is fun and I know that you were positively flying with your 30hp, but how did it do at lower power settings like half throttle?

Hey

Well i think i'm going to make a short video the weekend coming. Half throttle isn't a problem, she planes really quickly and holds it at about 15/20% throttle with only 2 people in the boat.
