Hi from Dom at Dorset Marine Training

Post by Dom » 18 Feb 2018, 21:51

A big thank you to Martin and all at F-Ribs & Sibs for inviting us to be members, we are an RYA training centre in Poole, specialising in Powerboating and surrounding training.

Spending a lot of time boating in Poole harbour and surrounding waters, we are proud owners of a 2.3m SIB, a 4.8m Ribcraft and a 5.85m Ribcraft, a 3.6m 'Rigiflex' and a number of sailing dinghies and kayaks. Lack of use is unfortunately forcing the sale of our 6m Swift 18 Sailing boat, but we will be back sailing again soon I'm sure :)

As a training centre, I'm happy to try and answer any questions, would be great to get to meet some of you on the water and if any member wished to access any of our powerboat or VHF radio courses, we have agreed a discount with Martin, for all you "Supporting Members"

Thanks for the encouragement, hopefully we'll be out playing on our boats shortly (not next week as it looks like the sea is going to freeze) and I'm currently attaching a radar to a boat that is joining our fleet.

Check out the calendar at www.dorsetmarinetraining.co.uk for VHF courses (and others such as Powerboat level 2 and first aid) let me know if you have any queries.

stay warm next week :) it's nearly summer..............
