Great choice of boat, they gave a huge following on here due to there all round quality build and capability on the water.
Loads of tips,tricks,help on mods etc for you to browse through and help on hand should you require it.

Thanks for the big welcome folks. Makes me feel like I'm in the right place. Still have not put the T38 on the water due work and rubbish weather, but I feel sometime soon it will happen.

In the meantime, if I have anything I can offer, i.e. picture taking, or what's going on up here in the far north, just ask , I'll try to help.

Wow!!!!
I've just been having a little look at your photo's... there's some bloody stunning shots there buddy.
I guess you have some rather expensive camera gear, either that or your a natural. Top class :clappy

I use a Nikon D7100 body, Nikkor 16/85 mm zoom and a Nikkor 80/400 mm zoom* As a support I use a carbon fibre monopod from Manfrotto, its just about as good as you can get that is light weight yet very strong. I do have a tripod, but I only use that for timed shots i.e. exposures that are too long for a monopod.

On the software side, I use Adobe Light room and Photoshop. The computer screen is an Iiyama 24inch with full colour calibration and driven by an 8 core intell based PC. 12 gig ram. 1TB x 4 hard drives. Umm, that's about it.

Its still more, much more, about how you use it, than how expensive it is.
