Hi all
My names Nick and I'm in Portsmouth. Im new to small SIBS, old plastimo 270 and Honda 2.3, and can honestly say this is the smallest boat I've ever had. My last boat had a 300+hp supercharged detroit and was made of steel. So this sort of thing is a bit new to me so forgive me if I ask daft questions.
Nick

Hi Nick. Those air cooled Honda 2.3hp's are great, I have the slightly older 2hp version.

Welcome from me too Nik. For quite a few years ..my only boat was Seago slatfloor 2.7m SIB powered by a 2.5HP Suzuki outboard.

Bang for buck..it was the most used and best value boat I have ever owned. I took it to sea and went round distant islands too..it didn't stop me have multi day adventures in it. Weather dependant though.

The boat lasted 16 years and cost under £400 back then ..that's the equivalent of a gallon of guinness ..for a year of pure boating pleasure .. cant beat either for fun and happiness :D
