Hello from Worcestershire

Post by Chrisjh1982 » 14 Jul 2017, 20:34

Evening everyone,

Recently purchased this little beauty on eBay for the bargain price of £360 with a 3.5hp Tohatsu outboard.

Purchased this to get me started and on the water this year. My dad has a 24ft boat which he is restoring so this will be used as the tender and I then plan to buy a Honwave T40 or similar for family holidays to the coast and hopefully meet up on some of the forum events.

I have been down the river Severn a few times so far and really enjoying it. I love the fact it folds away in the garage with low running costs and no mooring costs.

Anyone know anything about XM Yachting? Can't find much info about them as I don't think they still operating. Seems like a well made boat though.

Hope to meet some of you on the forum meet ups and gain some more experience.

Thanks all. I guess the company is no longer around.

Hoping to do something like this in the picture next year. Where's the best place to get the steering parts?
