Im a no go,
Still not got the F-rib yet or engine and im also getting aarons trailer ready for scotland (replacing bearings and checking hubs for pitting)

23kn on flat water in a straight line with the 25 , but you have to slow to 10kn to turn anywhere as it cavitates like mad, just too high for keel.
And you need to be superman to hold her straight at 23kn, really fighting her turning to starboard. Just not comfortable over 18kn. I should have tried offsetting to port to see if that helped. Ho hum

Well Martin, I have a ls 25, old but starts and runs nice in tank. May take out Sunday to test. I would guess 23kn isn't going to be needed much, and economy is also an issue with the two smoker. May just be best to trail up the heavy Avon with the 15 4/ and its 18kn max speed

I doubt we will be flooring it mate.......i also will be interested to see how juicy my 2 smoke outboard will be.......70 miles of fuel coukd be alot lol

How did the trip go? Was the engine good?
