Does anyone know how many miles we covered on this trip?
I'm trying to work out how much fuel I need for the Scotland trip as I may just buy an addition fuel tank.

Paul, was that 47 miles or 47 nautical miles?
And was it from your GPS, or measured from the PC on google earth or something?

Neil

The result was in miles.
My plotter played up later in the day :( user error most likely :roll: so I've used Google Earth to plot our passage :idea:
Ive plotted it twice and both were within 2 miles of each other, so hopefully fairly accurate :|

Please, please plot the route the day again for yourselves on Google Earth to double check I've got it right :idea:
As you are both planning towards the 'The Wild West Adventure' passage plans, of which there are three, each have a total mileage of 70 miles, so you can calculate your fuel usage accordingly :| but I always carry another 5 litres extra just in case as weight, wind, tidal flow can affect fuel consumption :idea:

That's what I did Paul, but got about 40-41, but that was nm, hence the question.46-47 miles therefore seems about right.
