Goring Boat Ramp (Nr Worthing) Sussex

Post by acidcloud » 10 Jun 2018, 16:27

Goring Boat Ramp (Nr Worthing) Sussex, as used on Kingsmere Reef trip
Although parking says 4 hours locals tell me its never checked and beach hut brigade are parked up all day in summer.
couldn't put some pictures up too big, orientation sorts itself out when you select image

There is some shingle on lower ramp but then its hard sand so not too bad, with two people launching

I've thought about using that ramp before but havn't to date but launched at Shoreham yesterday. Looks like I may well use it in the future as it's only a few hundred yards from the other halfs house, cheers!! :cheers

Andy,

There's not a lot of choice around Brighton , Worthing for launches so we trying alternatives out.
We will be back at Goring for Kingdmere Reef it makes the trip out easier than Shoreham.

Have you got any co-ordinates I can have for future reference? For the reef that is... I can't seem to find any online as of yet.
Cheers!!

Andy,

I use this map on my PC, its the same as the map on my Garmin 45DV.
Kingsmere reef and lots of inshore wrecks and rocks are all marked, options on left include lat/long.
Kingsmere is about 4.5 miles out SSE of Littlehampton.
Probably not going this weekend but maybe next if its calmer.
