Yup, I can confirm that little 9hp 2 smoker is awesome..........it'll power Martins 3.8m Honwave with the two of us at 20mph :star .....the down side is that it sounds like a drag-boat
The noise it generates at WOT is :eek :doh

Is the 15 HP Suzuki easy enough to carry for one person? Just thinking if I needed to carry it down the beach and put it on the boat there, or vice versa?

The 15hp Suzuki is 44kg.
I'm 5'10 and approx. 85kg. I carry my 15hp without too much problem, I suppose it would depend how long the beach is .... :?
My drive is 20m long and I carry my outboard down there and still ok to lift straight into the back of my pick-up single handed..
I do however, remove my stainless prop and outboard engine cover whilst carrying/transporting.. just in case the worst was to happen :no
Hope that helps ? :Confused

Thanks Martin.

I see you have a 9 HP as well. Is the 15 a lot bulkier that the 9 even though the weight is not much difference?

The 9hp is a 1978 2 stroke.. very light ! (28kg iirc )
the 15hp is a 4 stroke so somewhat larger and heavier.
