Dry Bags

Post by Mitch » 17 Feb 2018, 09:48

I'm sure someone will help me on this, when I go to oban i'll want some dry bags for tent, sleeping bag etc etc,
so I looked on ebay & everything is in litres, so how the hell do I work out what size I need, as far as i'm concerned I can't turn a solid item like a sleeping bag into litres so how big is 30 ltrs or 80 litrs or 120ltrs, which would I need for for all my items?????

I got mine from Mountain warehouse, pretty good quality and you can take them out in the shop I got a double pack of 80L they are on sale at the moment 50% off at £11 each.

It measures when laid out flat, approx 65cm at the mouth tapering down to approx 40cm at the bottom....that equates to about half a mummy sized sleeping bag.

At last years WWA I only took one and it held a four man dome tent, a huge military sleeping bag, a cot type bed and my cook set !! :thumbsup
