I looked at the DJI but mega money or low spec at an affordable price.
I know the imagery will be far greater along with stability, but price and follow me/ return home was a necessity for me :thumbsup

I paid £200 for the dji phantom standard. It has an upgraded antenna for longer range and with the dji app will have features like point of interest, follow me and way points. I think the only downside is the cost of the batteries around £50 for a none genuine one and over a hundred for a real dji battery. I should get around 23 minutes on a fully charged battery. So I'm looking at getting two more

Just had a quick 10 mins airborne on the road..
Not had time to mess with the video but she's been up and circled the house and landed again (manually) :yay
Gps & altitude are fine, hopefully I'll get chance to mess with it tomorrow.
Take off and landing went a dream compared to the helicopters :?

It's actually windy here so didn't want to risk much with it being my first attempt, so far.. thumbs up :thumbsup

It's still bloody windy mind, rather shaky but image quality from the camera is ok for a sub £300 quad
