Face spray screen thing?

Post by ChrisParish » 30 Jun 2018, 17:28

Hey folks,

When I was out in the Solent the other day I was getting a tad soggy as I was pushing home into the wind and waves. The biggest problem was salt in my eyes. I wear glasses but it was running down my face so I kept having to stop and dry off so I could see again! :rofl

So, what solutions have people come up with for this? I could wear swimming goggles but then I wouldn’t be able to see much due to the lack of prescription.

Suggestions please!
:help

Many of the ribbers use gecko helmets with a visor fitted, Andy B uses a motorcycle helmet with a visor, Kaman has a head band face visor and i use dark tinted safety glasses (rounded face fit type)
Unless you were to buy overspec goggles i guess you'll be limited to the visor options only

Never really had a problem with that apart from when its raining, I use flip down sun glasses over mine or you could use one of these, cheap enough off ebay.

ESS V12 Advancer goggles are great for use on a Sib.
