Went out in it today with the Family - took my Dad (the one drinking beer in the previous video) my old mum and the wife. Had a pleasant trip up the Itchen then left the Wife and Mum on the side and went for a quick zoom around on Southampton water.

Managed 13 knots two up, which I didn’t think was bad as the engine is only a 9.9 and I weigh 21 stone, so we were almost three up weight wise!

It handles so differently to my old flat bottomed Zodiac. For a start it tracks in a straight line! Also, when turning at speed it banks nicely and cuts in rather than mushing out and - well I don’t know what you’d call it in a boat, but in a car it would be Understeer

Managed to get it all in the Yaris.

I would love to meet up with you, Hobbit, and maybe head out to Kingsmere Reef sometime!
